Wings Team Expansion, Events for July & Bounty App Upgrades
Summary
We are pleased to announce a few important updates to the the team, the Wings Eggs bounty portal application and updates about the translation status of Wings content into the other languages.
Additionally, we would like to announce several events this month:
- Wings Marketing & Communications Advisor, Dominik Zynis, will be speaking on July 6th at the 3rd Anniversary of Bitcoin Wednesday in Amsterdam
- Wings Core Dev and ChainLab Co-founder, Stas Oskin will be speaking at AI Chatbots Israel on July 11th in Tel-Aviv
Introduction to Lior Zysman and Nimrod Back
Lior Zysman joins Wings and ChainLab as Legal Advisor. He is a corporate lawyer advising startups and investors on crowdfunding and digital currencies, and working on decentralized autonomous non profits (Runner-up at Consensus 2016 Hackathon with a Charity DAO). Lior holds Bachelor of Law and B.A. in business administration, from Tel Aviv university.
Nimrod Back joins ChainLab as Campaign Advisor. Nimrod is an inventor, app developer and crowd-funding rock-star. His first creation, Pressy, was a breakthrough success and consider to be one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns ever. Since than Nimrod also invented and successfully funded Boogie Dice and helped many other projects hit their goal.
Eggs Bounty Portal and Chat Bot Upgrades
In the last 2 weeks the Wings team has released a new version of the Web-based Eggs Bounty Portal (https://bounty.wings.ai) as well as upgraded @eggsbot on Telegram. Eggs bounty participants can now check which bounties have been approved and which were not (along with reason for decline), check their rank and which badges they have been awarded.
Since the upgrades we have been working to approve all of the Bitcointalk signature bounties, as well as clear out a lot of the spam claims that unfortunately the new system has attracted. We have also made some improvements based on user feedback so that decline reasons are stated both in @eggsbot and in the web bounty portal.
Wings content translation
Some community members have begun to translate the Wings website. So far we have pull requests for German, Indonesian and Portuguese at https://github.com/ChainLab/wings-site/pulls. We wanted to thank all of you who are taking the time to do this.
We would like to remind there are more outstanding bounties for Wings materials translation, and invite additional community members to join the process and submit their pull requests.
