Today, we are happy to announce that following a six months period of pause in trading, WINGS has been relisted on Bittrex Global and the market went live on Bittrex Global on June 1st at 8:00 AM PDT.

As some of you may remember, Bittrex has been the first exchange to show confidence in our team and listed WINGS back in May 2017. Ever since we’ve maintained a close work and mutual respect relationship and we fully intend to continue doing so in the future. In November 2019, Bittrex International migrated to a new jurisdiction and rebranded to Bittrex Global — which came with certain new legal requirements which resulted in the WINGS market halt. These requirements have since been fulfilled successfully.

As we’re moving forward and ahead of schedule, with dfinance already in testnet, the new Bittrex Global listing is not only expected to help restore liquidity for the WINGS markets, but also serve as a gateway for those interested in trying out the dfinance platform. The dfinance mainnet is estimated to be released during Q4 2020.
While development focus is set on dfinance and the upcoming mainnet launch, Wings Stiftung continues to contribute to and nurture the WINGS protocol. As a reminder to all, WINGS Dao is planned to remain complementary to dfinance and value transfer between the two platforms will be possible through PegZones.
